Dear Esteemed Industry Partners, It is with great pleasure that we reflect upon a year marked by dedication, innovation, and transformative initiatives, culminating in the successful achievement of our targets for the session 2023–24. The journey from April 2023 to March 2024 has been enriched with numerous activities, events, and accomplishments that have significantly contributed to advancing the small animal veterinary landscape.

The SAVA Annual Calendar of Activities was announced in advance, comprising a total of nine events over a twelve-month period, including:

Awards & Recognition:
October 2023: SAVA had the honor of felicitating Padma Shri Awardee Dr. Mahendra Pal for his invaluable contributions to the veterinary field.

Beyond Education:
1 Indemnity Insurance Advocacy: Ensuring comprehensive coverage for our members. Speakers: Dr. Michael R. Lappin & Dr. Catriona M. MacPhail

2. Minimum Standards of Veterinary Practice (MSVPR): Advocacy and meetings with government officials to uphold the highest standards in veterinary practice.

3. Legal Works Committee: Working tirelessly for the welfare of vets in collaboration with our association lawyer.

4. Industry Collaboration: For the first time, industry partner companies are aligning with veterinary professionals, fostering a collaborative ecosystem.

5. Community Engagement: Organized a rabies vaccination camp on World Rabies Day 2023 in collaboration with NCDC and the Government of India, prioritizing veterinarians and paraveterinarians as a high-risk group.
